Developed by Institut français NL, the French Embassy in Belgium and Institut français of Luxembourg, French XR in Benelux is a programme dedicated to promoting the French XR (extended reality) scene

This initiative addresses the challenges of distribution within the Dutch, Belgian and Luxembourg markets, as well as the challenges of co-production with the Benelux.

Its objectives are to:

  • Facilitate the identification of potential partners and distribution channels
  • Encourage professional exchanges and cross-border co-production
  • Strengthen the presence of French creations in a growing market

This mapping aims to provide French XR professionals with an overview of the production and distribution networks within the Benelux countries, identifying the venues that present XR works and those likely to support such creations.

Each listed organisation has a dedicated page outlining the venue’s presentation, the types of XR works it can host and additional technical information. Producers based in the Benelux region are also included in this mapping.

Designed as an evolving and collaborative tool, this resource is intended for all XR professionals seeking a deeper understanding of the XR landscape in the Benelux.

This initiative is supported by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Institut français as part of France’s international strategy for exporting cultural and creative industries. This mapping project has been developed in partnership with XRMust.
