Cinekid is the world’s largest festival dedicated to cinema and media for children. It takes place every year during the autumn holidays, primarily in Amsterdam, as well as in around forty locations across the Netherlands. Aimed at children aged 3 to 14, the festival presents films, series, games, and immersive experiences through a rich programme of screenings, hands-on workshops and opportunities to meet creative teams. Its “Medialab” allows children to experiment with innovative technologies such as XR and AI.
