Les Théâtres de la Ville are the theatres of the city of Luxembourg, comprising the Grand Théâtre, located near the Kirchberg European district, and the Théâtre des Capucins in the city centre. United under a single management since 2011, they are currently led by Tom Leick-Burns. The Théâtres de la Ville are attentive to new technologies and explore their integration in programming and creative projects. Featuring a 964-seat auditorium and a Studio, the Grand Théâtre hosts internationally renowned artists in a multidisciplinary and multicultural programme (opera, dance, theatre, etc.). The Théâtre des Capucins serves as the ideal venue for numerous in-house productions and co-productions. The Théâtres de la Ville run several initiatives to support creation, including TalentLAB, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025. Significant outreach and audience engagement work accompanies the programming.
