The Museum of Ixelles presents a broad panorama of 19th- and 20th-century Belgian art : realism, impressionism, luminism, neo-impressionism, symbolism, followed by fauvism, expressionism, cubism, surrealism, and abstract movements. Flemish masters, foreign schools, and an exceptional poster collection—featuring the world’s most comprehensive set of Toulouse-Lautrec posters—complete this ensemble. Currently closed for renovation, the museum will reopen in 2027. The possibility of creating XR works will be considered by the museum upon reopening.
