Spanning 30,000 m², the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision is the national institute dedicated to media. It encompasses the audiovisual and sound archives of Dutch radio and television, a media museum, a research institute and an educational platform. Open to both professionals and the general public, it presents the contemporary evolution of media, monitors current developments and responds to emerging media phenomena. Collaboration between archives and the creative industries is fostered through research programmes, exhibitions and partnerships with creators.
