Also open to dance and musical theatre, it pays particular attention to languages and literature, producing numerous performances in French, German, English, and Luxembourgish, as well as in other languages such as Portuguese, Italian, or Spanish. While presenting works from the repertoire in a contemporary context, the theatre gives significant space to contemporary playwrights. In this spirit, projects exploring the use of immersive technologies (XR) are currently underway, aiming to enrich the theatre’s future programming.

Technical information

1 venue (269 seats)

Type of presented works

Projection mapping

Postal address

194 Route de Longwy
L-1940 Belair Luxembourg

Contact

Frank Hoffmann

Artistic Director

Primarily funded by the Ministry of Culture, the Théâtre National du Luxembourg is a creative space dedicated to contemporary theatre.
